The batwing construction takes the sleeve seam all the way to the hem, which means the body and sleeve are one continuous piece of fabric — no shoulder seam, no set-in sleeve, nothing to interrupt the drape. The result is a silhouette that sits very wide across the body and very relaxed through the arm, with the weight of the knit pulling it into shape rather than any structural construction doing the work.

The hem is asymmetric — longer at the sides than front and back — which breaks the rectangular outline that batwing knits can fall into. Ribbed detailing at the crew neck, cuffs, and hem band adds definition at the edges without changing the overall oversized register. The knit has a medium weight: warm enough for cooler weather, not so heavy that it loses the draped quality that makes the silhouette work.

Wear with slim straight-leg trousers to balance the volume through the top half, pair with wide-leg pants if you want the full oversized effect, or layer over a fitted long-sleeve for added warmth without losing the silhouette.

This jumper has an extreme oversized batwing fit — the AU size ranges are wide
because the construction accommodates multiple body sizes per garment size. Length
is measured front centre; the asymmetric hem sits longer at the sides. If you are
between sizes, size down for a slightly less voluminous look. Measurements may
