A formal dress built around two fabrics doing different jobs well. The fitted bodice is embroidered lace appliqué — floral and foliate detailing across the chest and into the sheer elbow-length sleeves — while the skirt is a lightweight chiffon A-line that moves cleanly and photographs well. The two work together because the lace provides the detail and the chiffon provides the volume without competing.

The hi-low hem is the silhouette's defining feature — shorter at the front, trailing longer at the back, which gives the dress a maxi floor-length moment from behind while remaining easier to walk in from the front. Fitted through the waist with a defined seam at the hip where the bodice meets the skirt.
