The full button placket runs neck to hem, which means it can be worn as a dress or unbuttoned as a longline cardigan depending on what's underneath. The pointelle open-stitch knit has a delicate texture that photographs well and catches light differently at different points of the garment — the upper body uses a basketweave-style stitch, the skirt section shifts to a finer open rib.
Four flap pockets — two at the chest, two at the hip — with jewel-tone button closures give the dress a structured, tailored quality that most knit dresses don't have. The fit is close through the bodice and releases into an A-line flared skirt from the hip, hitting at midi length with three-quarter sleeves.
